A new year, new iPhone, a new Apple Ax processor and again records that fall.

The first iPhone 7 the tests fell and all focused on the abandonment of the jack or improved cameras. But the iPhone 7 also contains a small marvel of technology: its SoC A10. With more than 178 000 points, this chip is required at the top of the Antutu benchmark scores.
The king CPU
The comparison is cruel with iPhone 6/6 Plus iPhone 7 is about two times faster in all tests by Antutu 6. The progression is obviously less strong against the 6s, but the gain still reached 30% for the CPU, and 40% for the GPU.
More competition on the GPU
The CPU of the iPhone 7 also bury all the fastest Android smartphones of the moment, which are indeed all equal because usually animated by the same Snapdragon 820 from Qualcomm. However, it is interesting that the 3D test Antutu is very favorable to Qualcomm GPU. There, the Adreno 530 GPU still dominates the Apple A10. Recall however qu'Antutu is owned in part by the President of Xiaomi, a manufacturer that makes great use Qualcomm chips.
Other tests GPU, deliver an opposite verdict. Our colleagues from Ars Technica were able to launch GFX Bench, which puts the iPhone 7 between 8 and 25% to the 10 or HTC Galaxy Note 7 (US), both equipped with a Snapdragon 820.
