The Gigabyte Aero 15 is a sleek and powerful 15.6-inch notebook that manages to feel a lot smaller than it really is. The slim edge-to-edge display keeps its footprint down, and it feels more like a 14-inch laptop that you can easily tote around in your backpack. It is powered by an Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB.

It also weighs just 2.1kg, which while hardly a featherweight, is still rather portable compared to some of its rivals. That said, the category of portable gaming notebooks is likely to get a lot more competitive as NVIDIA Max-Q notebooks begin trickling in.
The Aero 15 is available in a trio of fun colors, including black, orange, and green. Well, maybe black isn't so fun, but our review unit came in bright orange, which makes for quite a refreshing departure from the staid black, gray and red gaming notebooks we're used to dealing with.

The 150 watt power brick is only 22mm thick and thankfully doesn't add much bulk to the notebook. You'll be able to pack it along with the laptop quite easily, and the Aero 15 really does manage to be quite a portable 15.6-inch notebook.
