IFA 2016: Sony Unveils Xperia X Compact and XZ

Here come two new smartphones in the Xperia range of Sony X: X Compact and XZ.

Conference at IFA 2016 obliges the manufacturer Sony had news in his luggage. This is about two new smartphones to its Xperia range, the Xperia X Compact and Xperia XZ. If they seem pretty solid on paper, they also seem quite conventional.

Sony Xperia X Compact: small but tough

As the name suggests, the Xperia X Compact opted for a small (129 x 65 x 9.5 mm for 135g) with a HD screen of 4.6 inches. The terminal is powered by a Snapdragon 650 processor and 3GB of RAM, and 32 GB expandable are present for storage. Featuring a USB Type-C port and a fingerprint reader on the side, the terminal does not forget the photo with a back Exmor RS of 23 MP and a front 5MP. The compatible battery fast charge is 2700 mAh.

This midrange Android terminal with M will be available in France from September to 449 euros in blue, white and black.


Sony Xperia XZ: The new flagship of the range

Also powered by Android M, Xperia XZ (146 x 72 x 8.1 mm for 161g) wears it a classic display of 5.2 inches with Full HD resolution. Featuring a Snapdragon 820 and 3GB of RAM, the smartphone puts the packet on the photo. Is thus increased on the back of a sensor 23 the PM and the other side 13 MP. Finally, note that this model is certified him IP658 / IP68 and also has a fingerprint reader and a USB Type-C port to quickly charge the battery 2900 mAh.
