A report of the company Check Point Software reveals the existence of four faults, nicknamed Quadrooter in more than 900 million Android smartphones using Qualcomm SoC. The operation of only one of its flaws saves root access and launch malicious code
The eternal problem
According to experts, the flaws are in the drivers governing Qualcomm's chipsets. The manufacturer was informed in April 2016 and has already released patches. The problem still remains that the operators and distributors who take forever to deploy their updates or even refuse to do so if a model is too old.
